In January of 2000, Kitty’s son was diagnosed with severe autism, which drove her into intense study. She has provided autism workshops and presentations since 2005. She also worked for years as a special needs Educational Assistant in Alberta. Kitty is now an autism consultant and speaker through her company, AUTISM INSPIRATIONS. She has written many articles on autism, and serves as a Director on the provincial board of the Autism Society of Alberta.
