Frank McCallum is the Principal of the Alberta Distance Learning Centre (ADLC) and has been involved in Distance Education for the past 15 years of his professional life. Frank was part of the province's first Video Conference (VC) Community of Practice, in which VC was used in a variety of ways to deliver and/or enhance education. Frank has been an outreach teacher and has administered in both a traditional and virtual school setting. With a Masters of Education in Distance Education from Athabasca University, Frank believes the distance setting can provide an excellent setting for many students and can offer unique instructional strategies for teachers.
