Ulana Soletsky was a classroom teacher for 26 years and for the past 10
years has worked at the district level as an A.I.S.I, Math and Numeracy Consultant for Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools. During the past 10 years she has also worked directly with the Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium offering Professional Development in the area of Math and Numeracy. A key component of her work involves collaboration with school administration teams and at-elbow support to K-9 teachers in the area of Math and Numeracy. Her focus is primarily around curriculum support as well as planning for staff development and school improvement. Ulana demonstrates passion about education, and wants to see all students experience motivation and success in mathematics and, as a result become numerate members of society.
