I spent the first part of my career as the Head of Physics at a comprehensive secondary school outside of London, England where I worked to develop the school's A-level physics program. Since my return to Alberta, I have been teaching senior high Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Mayerthorpe, Alberta. I have been involved with a number of working groups related to student success in high school mathematics, as well as mathematics assessment, and given presentations as a teacher representative of the Perimeter Institute's teacher outreach program. I believe in having high standards for success in the classroom, and working to provide the necessary opportunities and experiences to students in order to help them reach these standards.
