In this 20 min workshop we will explore our “blind-spots”, those areas in the body that get stuck, trapped and hidden as a result of stress, chronic tension, overuse, underuse, injury and our posture and lifestyle habits. As we "bring light to” or become enlightened to our otherwise unconscious ways of acting and reacting in our bodies we can begin to unravel from the inside out, transforming the way we show up in our bodies and life. There is a saying in yoga that “how we do anything is how we do everything”. Get out of your slump literally in this yoga quickie through breathing exercises, body scanning, posture awareness, mindful movement, stretching and meditation, which has been shown by research to reduce stress, elevate mood, increase heart health and improve immune function. How do you show up?
