For over a dozen years, kids author Marty Chan has toured schools across Canada and inspired hundreds of students to read and write. He relates to kids from ages 5 to 15 in ways that spark their curiosity, stoke the flames of their imagination, and fire up their enthusiasm. A reluctant reader when he was young, Marty knows all too well the obstacles that face today’s students, and he knows how to overcome those barriers. Through humorous anecdotes, personal stories, and magic tricks, he shares how he’s been able to win over reluctant readers and writers and get them excited about learning.
