As educators, we recognize play as the foundation of learning invitations. Provocations and Loose Parts are popular strategies that are being used in Reggio Emilia Inspired Classrooms to help promote exploration and discovery. In this session, we will look at how we use these terms and offer ideas to support these strategies as we explore elements and principals of their design. Participants will have time to set up and explore provocations.
