Are you a teachers who is looking for hands-on integrated literacy games and activities to use in your classroom? Come prepared to play games that incorporate the use of easily found, or made, manipulatives including literacy dice, letter tiles, word decks, paint chips and more! The activities are easy to differentiate for your students; ELL, regular and special-ed, and can be used as whole group activities, small group instruction or in centers. Concepts covered will include: learning the alphabet and its' sounds, spelling cvc words, developing rhyme, building two-syllable words, word patterns, vocabulary, cloze activities and more. Participants will receive a handout with reproducible gameboards and instructions, ideas for using in your daily 5 or other programs. Many practical take home ideas if you need a refresher or are a new teacher.
