Primary Math Games Using Number Lines and More

Come prepared to learn games that incorporate standard and open number lines that teach the following concepts: learning numbers to 100, to 1000, and larger (yes you will get to really see 1,000, 10,000!), patterns, use regular and open number lines for patterns, operations, introductory rounding activities, comparing numbers and more. Many new activities for new foldable numbers lines will be incorporated into the session. Ideas for counting on and back, part/part whole, odd even and more will be shared. The strategies will include ideas for differentiating instruction, journal writing and math talk extensions. Student samples will be shared as well as gameboards to use Monday morning. Come learn our newest activities to help your primary students with these challenging areas of the curriculum.
