Kids love video games... and can learn a lot about computer science and art by learning to make them! In this session we'll try out a free online cloud-based program called Piskel that you can use to create basic character and background animations. You will be introduced to this tool through an example of frame-by-frame digital animation and then you will create your own. This presentation is entry-level and bring-your-own-laptop, but no previous experience with computer science or programming is needed.
