Understanding Adolescent Mental Health

In this 2 hour session, we will overview the current research around adolescent mental health and its origins. The how and why of Mental Illness will be explained with current Canadian data. Anxiety, depression and ADHD will be highlighted in this presentation with an in depth look at the brain's functions in relation to these Mental Illnesses. Strategies to support positive mental health will be shared. A thorough handout will be given and there will be plenty of time for questions from the audience. Mental Health is Brain Health. Let's get on board with understanding it so we can teach it!
