Research suggests students learn best when working collaboratively. In this session, you will explore how you can use open-ended, written-response style questions along with the cognitive expectations framework as a tool to collaboratively promote student learning, problem-solving, and higher order thinking skills. Templates and examples in Physics 20 and 30 will be provided.
