HOT WHEELS!!! How to get away with playing with toys in High School Physics

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
In this session, Rick and Brad take you through several labs for Physics 20, Science 10 and Science 20 using an inexpensive Hot Wheels track and other standard lab equipment you probably already have kicking around your lab. These activities are not only fun, they also encourage the testing of fundamental physics models, such as the Conservation of Energy, Work-Energy Theorem, Uniform, Accelerated and Circular Motion and Hooke's Law. Bring along your favorite toy cars for some hands on building of tracks and collection of data. You're sure to take away ideas you can put into use right away back in your High School Science class.
