Knitting is a wonderful way to relieve stress and helps to boost memory and cognitive function. It can be done anywhere including inside the classroom. Come out and learn how to knit (or bring along your own project) and discuss ways knitting can be beneficial for your students and yourself. You will learn to cast-on, knit stitch, yarn over and knit 2 together to create a simple dishcloth pattern.

Tiffany has been teaching grade 1 and 2 for the past 10 years. She is a self-taught knitter and has been knitting for over 10 years. Tiffany enjoys sharing her skills with friends and family and finds knitting to be a wonderful way to unwind at the end of a stressful day.
