Why is my Colleague So Happy? Meeting the SEL Needs of Educators

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
When your alarm goes off do you ever wish you could pull the covers over your head and avoid school for the day? Do you ever glance at a colleague and wonder how they could possibly be so happy? Teaching is an challenging position where teachers try to manage the social and emotional needs of many youngsters. Sometimes this can be an overwhelming task. What's the best way to help our kids learn to manage emotion? The science of Social Emotional Learning now confirms that the best way to help students is to take care of our own wellbeing. Come to this uplifting and fun workshop where participants will learn new strategies to take care of the adults first. We will blend evidence based practices in SEL (Social Emotional Learning) with first hand examples. We guarantee you will leave feeling inspired and excited about returning to work. Who knows - maybe you'll become that happy colleague that others are wondering about.
