This session features literature that will engage your students and support the Social Studies curriculum in Grades 6 - 9. Literature can be a great way to spark inquiry and engagement in students and make connections that are more meaningful to their learning. Participants will explore relevant and high interest books and receive annotated lists linking the resources to the curriculum. Additionally there are suggested activities and projects participants could use in their class tomorrow.
