Create a green classroom where students learn how to grow many different types of plants including vegetables and herbs. Learn about all of the positive experiences associated with having a fully functioning aquaponic system in your school where plants are growing with the help of fish on a continuous cycle. The Tilapia fish we are growing will ultimately be consumed as well, showing students that the possibilities for farming are much more than just fields in Alberta. The students learn about the self sufficient system and are excited about the opportunities ahead.
